What i would do with my 93 is i would sand down the spots that were rusting or bubbling, to bare metal, and used a filler call ALL METAL, or something like it, and i cant remember where i got it from, but i would fill the pin holes and such with that all metal and then spray it with a can. But in my case the bottom of my truck was silver and was easily matched to a can of paint and blended in flawlessly, give it a try!

to stop this from getting worse use a 30wt non detergent oil and brush on the oil inside of the door panels at all seams.....

i live in rust belt and this is my way of preventing any serious rust problems.....in this area...before doing this i would get a product called extend and apply to all rust areas then after 2 days apply a finish coat of paint then after another 2 days give it a hit of the oil....

Fillers will work if you have to replace metal, but you'll also need to prep the area to prevent the rust from coming back. Go to WWW.NOMORERUST.COM (http://www.NOMORERUST.COM) and check out Captain Lee's Metal Prep and Conditioner and the Master Series Silver Primer. If you give them a call their technical staff will be happy to help you with your rust problem.

I recommend the Master Series Silver Primer because it has been tested to withstand 14,000 hours of salt spray.
