Gaah friggin B-Joint

okaaay so i'm finally putting my engine back in, i was putting in the axle (if you guys remember i had to take the entire assembly out) and found out i screwed up the threads on my upper balljoint pretty bad.... well .. like two threads.. but it's stonger than the nut that goes in there so it wont rethread. should i get a re-threader or buy a new upper balljoint?

hanes says you cant replace the balljoint alone but aap sells just the upper balljoint.. any idea how to get it out if i have to replace it?

If its not bad I would just try to get something to rethread it. How much is the new balljoint??

it's like 30 bucks.. but i dont know how to take it out.. the book says i cant but i know i can.. might need a hammer for this one

I'm not sure if you can replace the balljoint alone. If you can it will probably be hard. You will probably have to take a torch to it to heat it up.
