1994 metro dying

Let me reverse my last request. ive been told as long as the gas is being pushed the car runs fine its when you slow down going faster then 45 mph it acts like it wants to die but not all the time. and sometimes when you turn it acts like it wants to die. also the converter has been removed. any thoughts? thanks:popcorn:

Information is needed.....

Miles on the engine, compression readings with & w/o oil in cylinder, vacuum readings,
fuel pressure readings, spark plug appearance, etc.

Can anybody else add to the list?

A/C on, A/C off? Is the check engine light on?

The EGR valve may not be fully closed/may be hanging open.
