I have a 95 SHO and I have the "Check Engine Light" problem. Keeps coming on. I changed the O2 Sensors, Air filter, EGR Valve and a bunch of other things it wont go away. The car runs like new. Am I missing something? Can the transmission in the car cause the "Check Engine Light" to come on?:headshake

Yes, but you really need to find out the codes the computer has stored which turned on the light. Otherwise, it is just throwing money and parts away.

Your 1995 SHO is the EEC-IV system, I believe. It's not OBD-II anyway, which means you can pull the codes yourself with a simple jumper wire/paperclip/similar. See instructions as well as explanation of the Lamp Fault Code (LFC) here (http://autorepair.about.com/cs/troubleshooting/l/bl_dtcs_70a.htm). How to install the jumper wire is diagrammed at the bottom of the page. The self test connector will be located near one of the strut towers under the hood.
