Ignition System Parts

So i was driving, nice and easy down the road, when the engine just shut off. after much bitching and going then stopping. and waiting, then going again. i've determined the problem to be my Ignition Module. Now this isnt why i'm making a post. the reason i am is because as i was looking around the wonderful autozone website for some prices i noticed that i can get MDS Ignition Coils for my car.

Now im just curious, if i actually spend the money on these things will i get more HP, or better gas mileage. or does it simply cost more because they come in pretty colors?

No, only under maximum spark demand ( racing or 5500 rpms) would any gains come your way, the listed cars are not going to gain any benefit short of maybe a better service life.
