I agree with seth that this war can be simply ended with some caps ... all these no war hippies are too poor to own cars, so thats why they are like that, cause if they owned cars they would be pissed also.

actually gas prices are high because of like argentina or some fuggins south american country. bastards. iraq barely gives us any gas. all of their gas goes to germany and france...hmm peculiar aint it. maybe the dont want war to save their hold... and our gov isnt really heading toa totalitarian one. more republicican actually.

This really sucks. Why do we always got to get the shaft on gas prices? If war will bring down gas prices... well then maybe it's for the best.

seems like the higher the prices, the crappier the gas is, my car used to burn exxon quite nice but I filled up Sat. night on $20, the gage was up past the F mark and now after only a few trips it's just down to the F mark... I'm gonna try to hunt some smaller stations to get my shit from, that exxon sux in the acclaim.

Im gonna get some gas today... Last I saw it was $2.27 for 91. I may just put in the $5.00 110... Fuck it. If Im gonna get taxed at least I'll have the good shit.

lowest we get is 95 octane and japan has 98 thats how they get higher tuned engines.

as civicjim said thats about 78p per litre for 95octane.
which is about $4.73 per US gallon.

we get ripped off here.

So almost $3.00 a gallon? Thats not to bad for 98 oct.

Fuck gas prices, I want the war to start so i can get my damn money back from my parents. Elaboration: My stepdad used to make $90k/yr working for a construction company, but then they laid him off.....bastards. So then he went back to his old job, where he only makes $65k/yr, still quite a bit, but not enough. So now my families is poor and so to pay they're bills they using my money i get from working, which sux ass and i hate it, even if they do need it to keep our house. It may seem selfish but to this date, they now owe me $8000 (not a typo!), which if i had, i could complete my car very fast. So i just need the war to start so the economy gets better so my stepdad can get a better job so i can get my money back. Sorry, just had to finally vent, hope this doesnt come out selfish and greedy, guess ill wait and see.

it's venezuela thats the problem i think their having issues and we're not getting any oil from them.

not nearly as bas as the converted price ... but i heard from me moms that the price of 87 or what ever is 2.39 up in frisco ... imagine the price for 92 octane ... probly near 2.70 by now ...


As for the central american situation ... dude you have no idea ... my family lives in Guatemala and im hearing all sorts of shit about government pulling shit ... and were on the better side of all this shit. their gas prices are something like 2.50 for the low grade stuff and im not even sure its 87 octane or whatever cause there poor bastards and they probly water the gas down ... hehe ..

First off, for those of you who hope we go to war so gas prices drop...FUCK YOU..you're my 4g brothers and sisters but that is a really fucked up thing to say..you're willing to put our service members in harms way so that you can save a few bucks on gas..

first off, most of our oil comes from texas..yes you heard me right..TEXAS..conflict in the gulf just gives them an excuse to jack up prices..yes we do import oil from the middle east, and alot of it, but we don't have to..do your research and you will find that the major gas companies that do not get their oil from the middle east are charging the same rate per barrell...HMMM

Look..Its big business guys, its got nothing to do with iraq and what they'te doing. The big oil companies know that the majority of americans think that our oil comes from the middle east, therefore they capitalize...why doesnt our government do something abou it you ask???

Actauly they are taxing the fuck out of us to PAY for the war dude, war isnt free... Thats why I want it to get over with so prices drop. Also I have frends in special ops... I know all about harms way ;) I grew up with a man that is a platoon comander for the navy seals. I also have a frend I have known from 9th grade who is now in a special ops army program they will be testing in the east. So I do think about those sorts of things cause they are both in the middle east right now. I myself am not afraid or unwilling to fight and die if neccicary for my contry. If they needed me I would go in a heart beat as my duty and responcability to my nation. However, we are going to stomp the living piss out of sadam and kill his ass this time. After spending a few hours talking with my frend I am convinced that the technologie advancements we have over iraq will imobalize there armies quickly and avoid civilian casualties. God speed and give our troops the judgement and discernment to use nessessary force to overcome our enimies.

As, for the war, fuck it. It's been out of our hands for quite a while. From the word I've gotten expect an air war to start this week or next. With or without anyone else backing us.

Branman, sounds like your parents need some help with there spending. My mom and I live off of $45k a year without any real complaint. I help with food every once in a while, but not $8k worth. Hope you get your money. That much would go a long way with tricking out a ride.
