Catalytic converter replacement

I am looking into replacements and there are many listed on parts sites.
Mine is bad I need to replace.

Is there a certain make anyone reccomends?

Most are listed as universal. Could there be problems with attaching the downstream O2 sensor? Anyone make a straight pipe? j/k

I've driven hundreds of thousands of miles and have only replaced two CCs. The first one I just took the vehicle to the muffler shop and had them put on a generic one. The second was under warranty in my Trans Am so I took it to the dealer. Dont forget that there should be a 100K-120K warrantee on these parts, mine has it.

government mandated, looks like you are out of luck at 125k

As I stated in your other thread, best bet would be to check you local muff shops. You need to get the correct pipe size for the Converter, should be 7/8" on your GA GT w/3.4L.

From parts of america the Magna flo Part No. 23520 looks like a match, a little pricey @ $170 + install.
