ok i have a 94 caprice L99 with 100,000 miles has been running good untill 3 days ago. i was comming home and it started to stall like i was out of gas but i wasnt had a half of a tank of gas. when it stalled it said on the gauge said low oil level i think this happend cuz it stalled and lost pressure. so i let it sit for like 10 mins and it started parked it woke up the next morring made sure fuses were not blow the fuel pump fuse looked like it was old and nasty so replaced it. started and drove off got about 15 miles and stalled so i had a can of erther so sprayed it into the intake and started and stayed on untill i stoped the can. so i know its a gas prob so i waited till it started and heard the fuel pump so i dont know what to do next please help.

Test fuel pressure. There is more to the fuel system than the pump. The pressure regulator and filter are also critical.

if you hear the pump running but its not running IE injecting fuel then its either gonna be a bad pump, or check the pink feed wire from the coil to the distributor, see if its broken inside the wire insulation
i have had this problem and it prevents spark and fuel injection i have found out the hard way in the past
try messing with this wire while its runnign or while cranking
i would think this would be a very common issue and that alot of ppl would have this problem on these
low oil level is a llevel senser mounted on the oil pan and is a whole different system than the fuel system
the plug may be loose or it may be unplugged, or melted
check it
good luck
