2002 Jeep Larado Liftgate locks

My liftgate wont lock when vehicle is locked either inside or using the remote. What could be causing the problem, and what can I do to try and fix this.

It's most likely the lock actuator, inside the hatch. You need to remove the hatch trim cover to replace it.
