1999 Acura integra LS 1.8L DOCH NON turbo (for now). 108k miles clean as shit! good compression across the board at 200 psi warm. new plugs, fuel filter, cap, rotor. At a red line shift when i want that extra passing power it blows smoke when i shift. i have lost a good amount of oil due to this i think. any opinions on where to start. i plan on: timing belt, water pump, tensioner, idler pulley, valve seals. starts up with no smoke, drive it like a normal person and doesnt smoke. only high RPM shifts i get a shit out the back pipe. yes i know to fix the problem drive it like a normal human being. no. it shouldnt happen when i drive it like that. my roomate has the same exact car and with 150k and his runs redline all day long no problems. any suggestions we'll go from there. no flamming.

awesome car! always wanted to get me one of them teggys... my dsm blows black smoke at high RPM during WOT, but thats because i have a small boost leak... i already know where it is, i just havent gotten time to fix it... check for a vac leak on the teggy! ;) that is not going to explain the disappearing oil, but under wot at high RPM smoke sounds very much like a vac leak to me, unless its blue smoke... :2cents:

:1: for nice car!

Its blue smoke if hes losing oil.

Very clean looking car, yes start with all the thing that you list, I would do the same if I own a import. Timing belt is very important, make sure u get all the timing part from acura dealer.

About the smoke, my friend had exactly same thing when he race, what oil weight are you using ? my friend switch from dino oil to full mobil 1 and the problem go away, I dont know that would help your problem but that my :2cents: :)

note : I just call him few min ago, and he say he been use diesels oils, to help reduce smoke at woot and less on consumption but I think using diesels on a import small engine is kinda over kill. But that what he told me.

Nice, I always did like that style Integra. Cant go wrong with a B18 either, as far as Honda motors go.

As for your smoke probem, what color is it? I cant really see you having an RPM dependant oil burning problem, especially with good compression like that. If you were infact burning oil it would be from the valve seals. My guess is you are just going rich and pooping black smoke, in which case I'm not sure what the problem is other than (obviously) you are getting too much fuel.

Burning oil is a way of losing oil.

its white with a tint of blue smoke... only happens in high rpms

Oooh, shit. Popped head gasket? I'd imagine coolant system and oil system pressures would be especially high in the upper RPM's maybe you just have a pin prick hole or two in it. Is there oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil? Are you actually losing any of either fluid?
