Economic Stimulus Package

Who has already gotten theres? My scheduled to be direct deposited into my account no later than today. Just wondering at what time should it go through?

How do you know when its supposed to go through? I know I havent gotten mine yet. When I do though, you're damn right I am going to do my part to stimulate the economy! I am going to "stimulate" DSMlink into the Talon and maybe some bigger injectors if its big enough.

EDIT: Good ass call Ned. I googled it and found some good shit here (http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=181997,00.html). I also should be getting mine no later than today! I just hope I qualified for one... my mom told me the max I would be eligible for is $300, but thats how much a parent gets for dependant child under 17 I think it said, so that means I should be eligible for the normal $600. MAN how nice would $600 be right now?! I just hope I am not claimed as a dependant by my parents, if so that makes me ineligible. :(

That sucks but I was claimed by my parents last year for school. So I don't qualify. Boo. Oh well. Money I didn't have to begin with.

How could you have gotten yours in April since the direct deposit system wasn't even initiated until May 2nd and the checks to be mailed a week after.


Mine was D-D on the morning of the 9th =D already blew it all..teehee.

Yeah apparently because I filed through Turbo Tax and I paid for the filing straight out of my refund, I can't get DD. Long story short I will be getting mine June 27th...ef'n sucks since I was depending on it Friday.

If you look at the IRS website closer you will see that direct deposit was initiated April 28th and you would get your money BY May 2nd. My last 2 digits of my SSN are 01.

It was reported, although not as well as it should've been that those tax payers that filed with software such as Turbotax or similar programs or those that have DD but split the check up between two or more accounts are going to have their check mailed to them at the later schedule, instead of the regular DD schedule. A lot of people don't realize this and I suspect we'll hear more complaints about this as the weeks go on and those who were expecting their check to be DD on a certain date and it's not deposited will speak out, and question why.

Quick question,did you file singly or joint? If joint, the taxpayer's name who appears first is the SS # they go by. My last 2 digits are 78 and i should get mine the 16th. I filed jointly, and if my wife's name was first we would have gotten it the first week as hers is 08 :banghead:.

I heard some goofy hippy at the bike spot I go to talk all sorts of shit about how she was going to try to get her and 99 of her friends to pool their stimulus checks and buy property. If that wasnt retarded enough of her, she went on to have a hard time figuring out how much money they'd have! She was like, "That would be $600,000 and we could get some nice property for that! No wait, is that $6 million?" So after the three go them go around for a minute, one busts out the cell phone calculator!! Oh man was it priceless.

Ok I see, apparently there are two different versions out on the web to figure how much rebate we are supposed to get. The one I looked at was linked from one of our local tv stations. The IRS site has different figures and according to that I should've received $600 more than I did. Guess I'll be making some calls in the morning.

Theres a calculator on some government page that tells you what you should get, google it up.

When are we gonna get your economic stimulus package? I assume that since we are your biggest trading partner that we will get something too. :)
