Body Kit(s)

aight, im looking for a body kit for my car, i like the Wings west one and others to, my question is what are door caps, i keep seeing the word door caps when looking for a body kit, i always thought it was front,rear bumper, and side skirts, these door caps are new to me i guess, what are they, what they do, and let me see some pics. peace

Jus order the full WW kit ... it comes with the door caps ... I dunno WTF they do either but you probably need em.

they are a piece that covers part of the door on a kit. they usually blend well with the side skirts...

yes it is.

if you go to this http:/www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t86722.html you can see that crxce's car doesnt have door caps cause where the door meets the sideskirts there is a bump the door caps just make it so there is no bump they make the door fluse with the sideskirts.....

Aight, well i had the ww door caps and side skirts on my old car, and ya'll are right, without the door caps the ww side skirts would stick out farther than the door. But is this gonna be the same for all side skirts? I'm lookin at buyin the Aerogear blitzz style sides, but aerogear doesnt sell door caps at all, so do you think i'd still need em? I wasn't sure if the sides would stick out farther than the sotck doors. If anyone knows whether or not i'll still need the caps, lemme know.

i have the aerogear hy-bryds on my car and they sit flush with the bottom of the door.

the reason WW has the door caps, is for a slight wide body look, so their skirts are not equal to the door width, so they give you the caps to widen the door area as well.

Awesome, thank you for clearing that up for me. So now i can sell me ww sides and door caps. If anyone on here wants em, make me and offer, or email me for more info/pics.
