I currently own an 01 Dodge Durango with @ 100K on it. It has been well taken care of and really has no problems except for the gas milage - with the 5.9L it gets about 10 around town and 17 on the highway - current average of 13.6....before anyone balks, its driven lightly, and has always been tuned up at recommended intervals with plugs, air filter, distrib cap, oil changes, tires checked etc. My wife is really complaining about the ga$ co$t and we have driven several SUVs Libertys too small... Ravs too small...We drove a Pilot and she REALY likes it...fuel economy numbers are shown as 17 and 22. Whats the real mileage Pilot owners are getting? I've seen some good and some reporting numbers not much better than my Durango?!

My son drives 2005 Pilot and his mileage is about the one you mentioned. On the highway he may get about 24 or even 26 but this is all without even stopping ie start and go till the next fill up.
Over all he is very satisfied with the vehicle.
I hope this helps.
