temp control/tire pressure sensor

I just purchased a used 99 century and there are only 2 problems with it (thats what the wife says). First of all the display for the temp control does not light up. Secondly the light for low tire air pressure is always on. The previous owner said he had it replaced a few times and within a few months it would come back on. the only thing im concerned with fixing is the display for the temp, heat/AC. Any suggestions where to start or has anyone else had similar problems?
