Ok so i just installed my new boost controller the other day but i had no idea how hard it was gonne be to tune. Im looking to get around 13 psi or so cuz i still have the stock turbos. Does anyone have a good starting point to set it to. If any has any good numbers to put in for the SET, GAIN, SET GAIN.

what year car? bc i have mine tuned for about 14.5 psi but i could give u my numbers but u would have to subtract a bit from my numbers to make sure ur not over what u want.

OH by the way, get a data logger if u dont have one.

its a '92 and would turning it up to 14.5 psi hurt anything. I have the stock fuel system other than a walbro 255 with the hotwire kit nd the metal fuel rail loop. I do have a full 3" exhaust with no cats nd y pipe with air filter.

where did u buy it from? and i use a laptop as well. i got a Hand Held Halo data logger.

14.5 psi is fine with the stock fuel system, how ever i would get your data logger set up first b4 u get it at 14.5. but u should be fine at 14.5
My numbers are, boost 52% Gain 31% set gain 58. you can take those numbers and take off a few numbers and work with yours from there.

I got mine on ebay. Its a palm III i think but the connector for the computer will only fit in a PC. But ya thanks again so much for the base numbers to start around. That is so helpful. Ill let you know how it goes.

Thanks again

On your car does it pull 14.5 to redline??

stock turbos are not going to hold more than possibly 9 psi to redline. They are out of their effeciency range at that point.

so, if my boost gauge reads 13 to redline am i oxer boosting, or is my boost gauge innacurate? its aftermarket, and seems to be fairly accurate, and im loggin no knocks or fuel cut...

The gauge might be accurate but your source may not be.
