I would like to give my car that low mean growl but I am not the best modder out there and I would like to know if that is the source of that low beefy sound. So what would be the best way to get the low rumble?
Thanks guys!

Low Beefy Rumble? Sorry to say it, but its pretty much impossible to make a GTP sound like a chevy small block v8.
Probably the only way to drastically change the sound is to switch out the camshaft. There's a website floating around of GTP exhause sounds you can listen to, and the website lists the MODs each driver had to do to achieve sound.
Do a search, you'll find it.

Removing the cat or resonator will add more of a raspy drone to the car, and it sounds like crap. Grand Prixs just inherently do not sound that great. All you can really due is remove the resonator and install a glasspack and than install a decent set of muffers(flomaster 40 or 50 or even hookers), you could even install catback if so inclined. However, out of current catback selection, I was only impressed with the Borla solution... little pricey though.

Get some Borla XS Pro mufflers. They sound good.
