Hello all,
My next project will be this dodge pickup truck.
Planning cleaning it , give it some bodymods and tuck in a big V8 engine to replace the poor little i4 engine it has from stock :naughty:
I will start with the bodywork 2morrow and I will post photos of the progress :)
Heres a picture of the box;

And a picture of the rims I will use, these a quite usefull for a minitruck like this since they are only somewhere around 14 or 15 inch in the 1:24 scale that is ;)

Okay whell here we go then,
Today I did the fab work that needed to be done on it.
Im planning to put in a big V8 so it will bee the cooling :grinyes:
First u made a small template for the sidepieces of the scoop out of some scrap paper.
Then i made the sides;

After that i covered it with 2 layers of a thinner styreen plate since its more bendy;
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/mr.mean/Afbeelding271.jpg
So after the glue whas all set it looked like this.

Now it looks a bit boring IMO so I added the line the original hood had in the middle running all over the hood.
Here's how it looks :) ;

All i got left to do now is to make it all smooth with the help of mr.sanding paper and mr.putty :runaround:
Maybe some more later 2nite ;)
