Tranny???? I pray its not $$$$

ok on my way home I felt only from a stop it stuttered a bit no reving...so i get it home and shut it off, now it wont kick into drive or 3rd only when i switch to second or 1st can i feel it kick in...helppppp what could it be?

ok well called around and a guy at the local tranny shot said it sounded like a "sprawl" and it is big bucks to fix...now I guess I need a new tranny, funny how these things always happen at the best finacial times arrrrrrrrrr so does anyone know where I can find used cheap trannys for my car? ahhhh i am so mad

Any way to get it scanned for codes? Are you seeing an SES light? TPS issues can cause tranny issues as well, which is why I was asking if you got any codes. Remember that not all codes trip lights... just something to check..

Ed Morad is your man if you need parts for your Grand Prix, the guy is legendary when it comes to Grand Prix parts, especially 97+. I guarantee you he has a decent tranny for you.
