Dashboard Painting

Has anyone tried repainting their dash?

What is the best paint and method?

Mine looks like crap, and I think it would be a nice visual upgrade. All the faux leather or whatever that crap is has mostly chipped off.

I never tried it, but I seen a friend paint his dash with a rattle can of paint made for flexible material. Came out nice.

they make a vinal spray. i would probably use that, just have to prep it real good and get any traces of stuff like armor all off or it won't stick

did your friend totally remove the whole dash, or do it in car?

im thinking of removing the whole thing, but it seems to be quite difficult to the remove the whole dash. my haynes manual doesn't describe the removal very well.
