After all the building stress, you get to stress out even more at an expo if you like! Actually, the comps are just huge fun, no one cares who wins really. My biggest problem at these things is trying to keep my wallet closed! (within reason of course - actually, without reason!...)

Great incentive to start a new model. Not to get an award, but just to add a bit to the whole exercise - don't need to win, just attend an event and see what people are doing.

everything is just perfect. every single detail is there. i been following the WIP thread and i dare say it's the BEST ferrari model i ever saw on AF. In term of details it is just PERFECT !!

Thanks! I dunno what's next. Suggestions welcome! This was supposed to be a simple out of box build but I see no one here can stick to that promise, so I won't even try in the future.

Not that I was not scrolling down in search of ladies :D but then again i scrolled up and down and up .... This is truly an awesome build, fit is perfect, even the wheels that I thought will not look good...they do...look good.

What I really admire is that all doors close fantastically. When closed nobody will ever notice the work you put into this one. The paint job was admired by me already in the WIP. Great model.

You really should look to getting this photographed in a proper photo studio with black out material. That will make this already amazing thing look even better.

Awesome build, I love everything you have done. The unique wheel paint scheme (unique for a Ferrari anyway!) and the struts on the front and rear lids look great.

The fit and finish of this model is second to none. Incredibly realistic. :runaround: Very exciting work you have done there (In all facets of the model, not just one particular area).

However, What were you thinking putting months of hard work up there on a ledge for picture taking? If that was me, knowing what butterfingers I have, I am sure it would have ended up on the walkway below.:nono:
