Back up sensors

My 2004 F350 DRW 4x4, back up sensors do not work. The switch lights up"off" when I put it in reverse and will not turn on. But if I put it in gear, drive the "off" light will stay unlit:banghead:

A scanner capapble of reading the backup sensors (like at a dealer) would be able to tell you which sensor is bad.
