I have a 95 Tacoma and my hood and roof are turning chalky white. The truck does not have a clear coat. Any idea what I can do to restore it? I'm not worried about it looking perfect, but if I can get 75% of it to look better I would be happy. I really just don't want it to rust. The color is cobalt blue metallic pearl (8K6)

I am hoping someone out there has used some sort of wonder polish to make it all better so I don't have to take it upon myself to buff all the paint off.

Also, any recommendations for a wax or protectant to stop it from happening elsewhere would be appreciated.

I don't have an answer but a good car detailer may be able to help. Check in the yellow pages or ask a dealer who they use for detailing.
