This morning while I went to get gas, I noticed that my drivers side window wasnt going down. It finally did, but it would only go back up half way. My dad tried to mess with it and he even took off the door panel, but we still havent got it to work. Anyone know how to get this fixed without having to take it to a shop? thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

It sounds like your power window regulator may have broken.

Try working the window with the door open in diferent positions. Some of these are known to break a wire in the bundle that runs through the door. You need to check for power at the motor first.

The power still works. We were able to get the window back up, but now it wont go up or down. When you puch the button, you can hear it trying to move, but it doesnt budge.

Do you still have the door panel off? If so, make sure the regulator is still attached to the window and it's not just a matter of the clamps coming loose from the glass. If that's still attached though, I'm still leaning towards window regulator. But, Johnny Mullet's suggestion was a very good one to do prior to shotgunning a regulator. I'm a bit embarassed for not thinking along those same lines.
