Problem with power to radio, maplights, keyless entry ??

I have a 2004 Sebring Convertible that was just in the shop because the window seal where it meets the top was leaking. They also replaced a burned out tail light. When I got my car back I noticed the radio/cd player wasn't working. It's not getting any power.
Also later I noticed the map lights on the rearview mirror don't work, the lights on the back of the window sun shades don't work, the keyless entry system doesn't work with either of the two keychains, and the car is making a single chime when you put it in drive -- like an alert chime, but nothing is lighting up on the dash. (It never chimed like that before.) Also, the mileage computer is defaulting to its factory setting, like it does when you disconnect the battery for a period of time.
What DOES work: The power windows work, the top mechanism works, the horn works, the cigarette lighter works, the extra power outlet in the armrest works, the AC works, the electric seat controls work, the turn signals work.
The mechanic says the problem is in the radio and says I need a new one. (This one is only a year old -- they already replaced it once because it wasn't getting power.) He said the keyless entry keychains need new batteries (both at once?) And he didn't have an explanation for the other stuff. He said he checked the fuses and they were all good.
I'm in a service contract with this place and I feel like I'm being jerked around. Does anyone have any suggestions I can give the mechanic? I'm really afraid that single chime means something important isn't working -- like maybe the airbag!
Thank you in advance for any comments and suggestions!!
