Fuel Light

Hello everyone I have a problem with the fuel indicator light not coming on when low on fuel I check the little light bulb in the instrument and it was O.K but I still replace it with a new one and still doesn't work when low on fuel and drove it to where the neddle was on E(empty)and still no light coming on does anyone knows what could be wrong. 1996 Maxima

It should come on. Keep driving it on empty with a little extra gas in a can. If it still dosn't come on before you run out let us know.

it comes on when there's less than a gallon in the tank. like Bezerk said you may not be going low enough for it to come on.
