88 prelude si questions

Well I just wrecket my 88 si and I can't even fix it due to the fact that I tore the bumper mounts off... but I am looking for another one. ? is, can I put a b16a1 88-91 in it without having to have brackets made? I know it sounds dumb that I just wrecked it and I want to put more power but my wreck was a stupid move on my part. I just know the stock b20 wasn't that powerful and I want vtec. I had 4ws and would like it again but not a big deal. Is there anyone that has put another motor in it? thanks

I have the same car and the same questions but i want to swap in a b18c5. Is that possible?

to swap in any other engine than the 4 stock engine that cam in the car(b20a,b20a5,b21,b20a3)will require custom mounts,....actually to swap from a b20a3 to a b20a5 you need the b20a5 mounts for it to work in the car.

to answer both your questions "no" it cant be done without custom mounts...have fun finding them to lol.
