Hello. I read the FAQ about this, but still need some help. I think my problem is with the gear selector itself. If I hold the brake down and wiggle my gear selector, I can hear it try to engage. My question is, how do i get underneath the gear selector to try and clean it out. I can't figure out how to get the cover off of it. Thanks!

What's exactly wrong with it?

I have a hard time getting it into gear. While it is in park, I press the brake to hear the click. I have to hold the gear selector as far back on reverse as I can and then I can hear the click and switch to reverse or driver. Make sense? If not, I will try and give a little more detail
