2005 brake removal

How is the rear disc brake caliper removed in order to change the pads? The bottom has a bolt that is easily removed but the top has a place where it looks like a bolt should be but there is a cap. When you remove this cap there is some grease in there but I can not tell if there is some kind of fastener in there or not. I can see in there with the help of a mirror but for the life of me I can not tell what is in there.

Welcome to AF. Rotate the caliper on that "no bolt stud", unless it is frozen it just swings up.
