3.5 coolant drain

Just replaced the thermostat in my 2000 3.5. I just drained at the radiator. This fixed my running hot situation. I would like to flush the entire system.

The fitting on the radiator was a bit tricky to figure out. I was wondering where the drain plug is for the engine block? Hard to get to? What type fitting is it and what is the chance that I will get it out?

the coolant reservoir is so high on the Intrigue the system self-bleeds the air out eventually. Only when getting out the dexcool is the engine bleeder necessary.

When replacing the dexcool what is the recommended type to use?

Why not go universal: better choice of colors and longer life (5yr), but green will always be a classic (2-3yr).

Id go with whatever will last the longest. You dont want to be doing this again any time soon.

there are always those uv dyes and blacklights also. How fancy do we want to get here? Silicate additives (usually reserved for (hd diesel)? Who knows, green may be the in color for 2008 and you may be a person that likes to parade your car with hannah-montana stickers on it. Whatever your fancy I'm "down with it" -just no pictures please.
