'86 cutlass windshield leak

I have a '86 Cutlass Supreme 2 door rear wheel drive vehicle. When it rains heavily the passengers side floor board fills with water. This same thing happens on my '78 El Camino. I have had the glove box out of both vehicles and cannot find out where the water is comming from. The only thing I can see after a rain or even during a rain is the water dripping off of some wires on top of the heater core. The car is not rusted at all and the door/window seals are in good shape. There must be a seam leaking some where - but where. Has anybody have any ideas on where the leak may be or how to stop it. Both cars are doing the same thing so it must be a common problem. Appreciate any suggestions.

Could be leaking through the heater air intake under the cowl, under the wiper motor area, then it leaks out of the heaters blower box onto the floor.
If its leaking around the glass, youre better off removing it and starting over. Best to use a hot knife to cut the urethane seal.
Here is a pic of what your hvac air intake looks like, this may not be exact but very simular if not the same.

Hope that helps

Thanks, I'll give it a look but I don't think its comming from inside the heater core . I can see water drops on top of the heater core.

try popping off the windshield aluminum moldings. I owned several Regals and Olds from that era and had to have the glass removed and resealed. The sealant would shrink over time and leak. Be prepared to buy a new windshied in case it breaks when its removed. I had to but one. Mine leaked on the side of the glass.
