Sunroof won't close

The sunroof motor only seems to be working in one direction. Sunroof is currently stuck open, pushing the switch back the motor makes noise, pushing forward there's nothing. Tried to close it manually until it could be fixed, but the sunroof can't be moved by hand. Any ideas on what to check?

Check the contacts on your switch. Did you spill anything on it?
Check for a blown fuse. Check for a faulty relay. Check to see if there is anything stuck in the track. From the sum of your comments, the switch is the most likely culprit.

Which fuses and relays are connected to the operation of the sunroof? The power windows work fine, if it matters. Nothing spilled on the switch, I guess I'll have to drop that section of the dashboard to check it? Doesn't seem like I can get behind it from the change tray.

First things first:
Remove the gray plastic plug on the headliner in the rear passenger seat and there should be a moon roof crank bolt underneath. The wheel wrench that came with your car should have that crank key, use it to crank the moon roof shut. You can use an Allen wrench if you don't have the original key. If the roof cranks shut, then it means that the cables, tracks and gears are OK.
Try opening it using the normal switch and verify that the motor is working OK and that the gears are OK. See if it closes now, sometimes a little attention is all it needs.
There are separate open and close relays and I think they are located in the front side of the drivers door. It's hard to tell from the diagram, but it may be behind the drivers left side kickplate trim just forward of the door. The close relay has the following wire colors: Grn/ORN, Grn/Yel, Wht, Grn/red, Blk. The open has a yellow instead of a Grn/Yel.
If a fuse was blown, it wouldn't open or close. After checking out the wiring diagram, it sounds like either a bad close relay or a bad switch.
