Sigh, wake up to head to school this morning and I find my car all beaten up. :(

Both of the doors pryed open and dented/scratched, driver's side window broken, center console torn off in attempt to steal stereo... but they only got the faceplate ;). So I guess they got mad when they only got the faceplate so they just decided to thrash the car :(.

Well, i'm gonna go clean up some glass.

Only reason i'm calm about it is because I have no idea who did it and I doubt I ever will. On the otherhand... if I do find out who did it.. ;). Only way I could find out is if they left a finger print on the jack knife they left, but police don't usually check for prints unless it was a murder or something.

Yea, filed an insurance claim, but I just bought this car a few months ago, I was growing attached to it ;).

I've got a question. Is the vehicle a write off if the damage is more than the value of the car? The vehicle was a write off before, it was in an accident then it was repaired and I bought it from a car lot. Thanks in advance.

Yeap, pretty much. If the damage is more than the value, your car is totalled:(

Actually, if the damage totals 65 percent or more of the vehicles total value, it can be totalled.

Well, wasn't a writeoff, just $2100 dollars to repair  . Taking it into a body shop tomorrow. Damnit! thieves should take people's schedules into consideration before thrashing their cars! ;)

They should arrange a date with you before they attempt it so you have time to fix it before work

Damn bro. That sucks about your car. Makes me want to put my money into a really good car alarm or long range rifle or something.

Hope it all works for you.

I feel for you... I had my car broken into a few years back.

These days I just wait inside the car at night with my shotgun ready to blow them mo-fos away like the worthless garbage they are:devil:

You know what I would do if I ever found the person that did that to my car?

Well neither do I, but you can bet your ass it wouldn't be very pretty. I can't stand theft and vandalism with a passion.

Concealed weapons permit. Hey, it was self defense.

Don't forget to bring a replica pistol to throw at them first ;)
