Ok so Im getting my license soon and I don't know whats good. I was looking into 2000-2001 Galants and Eclipses. And I don't know what would be a better choice. Some people say Eclipses are "girl" cars. And I'm stuck between the two. :runaround: :banghead:

theyre both crap. Get a mid 90s eclipse(2nd gen) gsx or gst if you have any interest in performance. Or you could get a 3000gt :)

get yourself unstuck and buy a honda civic. you'll thank me later. nothing's best for the 1st car. save cash, and buy off craigslist. no better deals around. find a buddy who's good at spotting cars and tug him along for purchase. get a rebuilt, they are much cheaper and run as well as ones from dealership and with clean title. or get one with blown engine and swap it. plenty of them guaranteed low mileage, from japan. you'll pay $500 for the car and maybe $5/600 for the engine.
don't buy 3000-s, unless you have brother that owns a repair shop and likes you.
galant is mom and pop vehicle. how could you even put both on the same scale? and we owned 94 eclipse, 96 galant, and 94 LR-V at the same time, so i know. good car though.
oh, and every mitsubishi we owned/own now takes oil. every single one. more or less.:eek7:

Forget the Mitsubishi and buy yaself a decent WRX heaper than either car ya after and more power that is unless you live on the east coast of Australia then it exclude you because of age and only a P plater which means you can't even have the 3000GT.
