Summer Plans?

With the nicer weather FINALLY rolling in (this spring has been a shit show in MN) and me not wanting to do homework, I thought I'd see what you guys were up to for the summer. What are your major car plans and goals? Any other big happenings, goals, or plans this summer? Here's mine...

Cars:
Talon - Get current closet parts installed and buy the rest of the list in my sig. I'd also like to do some cosmetic stuff after that too, like smoke the tails, repaint the rims, and maybe do a little body work. That car has a host of electrical shit to do too. My lofty goals for the car are <12.000 1/4 mile and 400 whp, but incase thats unattainable 370 whp and <12.25 will be my next set.

Cavalier - Take out the sound system, lowering suspension, and rims. Fix some electrical issues and replace some damaged interior parts.

Other:
Races - Grandma's Marathon this June, hoping for a 4:15-4:30. Doing a triathalon this August, not hoping for a particular time, just do as good as I can.

Me - I'm currently sitting at like 215lbs, which is more than I want to be. By eating a bit better, using my bike as primary source of transportation, and marathon/triathalon training (running, biking, and swimming) I should be able to cut back. My friend and I are going back out for the Ultimate Frisbee team next year too, so I need to be able to sprint faster and jump higher. I am going to take a day or two sometime soon to test my vertical, 1 mile, and 100 yard. At the end of the summe I'll test again to see how I've been doing. Some goals for myself include getting back to 195lbs, run a sub 6 minute mile (my brother is almost in the 4's!!), get a decent vertical (not sure where I am or how easy it will be to get better, maybe 26"-32"?), and get my "cruising pace" for long distance runs down into the sub 9 minute region.

So what about the rest of you? Car plans? Female plans? Body plans? House plans? Lets hear it!

Car: get a 16G and everything needed to go along with it by end of July and then do suspension after that.

Im Moving to Cleveland in June any body live out in that area?

Car-just got some minor things, most of which i already started

*fix the damn pop sound that happens when i open drivers side door (working on this week)
*fix my leaking sunroof (working on this week)
*buy new center caps for my rims since the salt destroyed them this winter (my own stupidity for using my rims in summer thinking nothing would happen to them if I washed it weekly)
*replace breaks/routers
*maybe get my hood repainted (many rock chips)

thats all i can think of off the top of my head, other then that i'm going to move out and possibly buy a house with my G/F

Car: Hit 160whp. Then turbo? Maybe sell? It's day-by-day plan for me for that thing. Right now I'm ready to throw her off a cliff. Replace rack-n-pinion. Replace alternator and/or find out my electrical issue. Try to stock oil leak on block. Tuning and tuning. Oh and get a new passenger fender and paint that and front bumper. Then maybe sand the CF hood and re-clear coat that too.

Me: BBQs and parties at my apartment! I bought a grill and finishing getting all my plans together for funness. Dave's Sacks Tourney is going to be awesome.

My girl turns 21 in a couple weeks so I'm dragging her to all the work events this summer. :)

I joined a gym 3 weeks ago and been going 3 times a week and seeing results already. I'm going to continue with that and get big and strong. Will also get back to running a little. I lose weight the instant I start running so I can't do a lot because I want to gain weight. But running is fun.

Work... will be busy as usual with summer festivals. Not looking forward to doing those so blah.

Going to Canada/Michigan in mid-may. Then MN whenever we decide on the meet. Even if the meet gets canceled me and my girl are still going up there.

Do more freelance web design once time opens up again. I got people waiting.

Keep working on the apartment and make it look better without spending a lot.

PLaying on a hockey team, A soccer Team and working 7 days a week yep thats right 7. Stacking up the cash fast when it comes to the gas.
Put on my 18g should've already done that. Um upgrade fuel system so that it can see e85 if I want it to. And then just a few minor details fix a slow clutch fluid leak and a little belt squeel. Also somehow pass emissions cause mine failed.

Paint and put a 50 trim on it.

Hopefully make it to the north meet since i missed the south...

Car: Sell my RS, finish up my current project, and let the Talon sit outside for another year.

Me: Lots and lots of partying at the lake when I'm not farming.

Well I just found out that I got a job for the summer with the Army Corps of Engineers, that was one of my plans for the summer. The motor should be done and in the car within the next few weeks to a month. I want to get tuned up to about 18psi and then upgrade to a 16g or 18g. But the turbo may not come till the fall or something. I am also taking a summer class...calc 2... so making an a or b in that would be awesome to.

car- suspension, brakes, rims installed, new hood (C/F), black interior, Recaro seats, clutch/flywheel, good tune

me- get back into shape (start lifting again, i wanna gain about 20 lbs), hang out, party for the summer w/o school on the lake!!! it'll be nice! find a girl (if their is time)

Summer plans? Well I plan on making it to the North meet, but other than that I'll be working my ass off at two jobs to get some money in my pocket... I'm pretty disappointed how tight I've been with money this week. I totally screwed up my checkbook and might go in the red now... Hopefully not, but who knows...

I'd really like to go back to California again but I doubt it'll happen until the fall or maybe even next year... I really need to sell the Talon ASAP, but at the same time I wanna keep it and enjoy it for the summer... Blah... Somebody just hit me. :banghead:

Well I plan to finish school in the next few days. Today was the last day of classes, and by next Tuesday I will be done with finals. So I will have my diploma in Industrial Technology: Automotive Mechanics

Ill start full time work with the SC National Guard in the middle of May, and will be looking at buying a house shortly after that.

As for the GSX, the GM MAF, MAF Translator, HKS BOV, FP 4 inch Air Intake and filter, EPROM, Stage 3 Keydiver, 780cc injectors, 255 fuel pump, atmospheric o2 dump and SCM 61 are waiting to be installed. I am hoping to do this all after my final exams, but I'm not sure how much I'm going to get done since I will either be making a Myrtle Beach or Folley Beach trip within the next week.

Pictures will be provided of the setup once i finish it. And numbers will be provided once i get it professionally tuned and dynoed.

Car - I plan to destroy my 94 Toyo tercel before the end of the summer.

Me- I plan to train hard for baseball next year. And of course work.

I will be making a Myrtle Beach trip within the next week.

Awesome man, I'm not far from there. I'll probably be there alot this summer. I'm going next month for a week and I'm seriously hoping to have the spyder running and tuned to take it.

I will be up at Myrtle Beach this summer some also. I think I may go sometime in the month of June.

Shit, we might have to chill back one day then.

Sell all my sun-dresses and move to texas to live in a poligimist compound..
