Long story short i changed the motors in my car, it is a 97 3.5l. The motor i put in was from a 95 int. Still a 3.5l. Aside form the normal aches of a motor change everything went well. I am completely finished and now it is a no start. I have no vehicle aside of this and i am really frustrated but not ready to throw in the towel.
The switch went fine except for one thing, the cam sensor had a different electrical connector head on it than the one on the 97, but i just took the sensor out of the oem motor and problem solved there.
My main questions are this, what should i start to look for first?
How do i read these codes i got from the turnkey obd method?
The car turns over nice, very strong, sounds like it Should start.
I did the codes and i am uncertain how to read them.
Here is what i did and what i came up with.
I turned the key 3 times, after a brief pause i got
Eng light blinked 1, then 2 times, 4 times, 3 times , 4times, 3times, 5 times, 5times then done.
If ANYONE can shed some light on this i would be gratefull as i am learnign on the fly. I just wanna start this baby up and go screaming down the road.

UPDATE: I just noticed i DO NOT have my ground wires straps hooked onto the motor, one of them crumbled and the other one is fine just unhooked. Could this be the reason it wont start?

Well, i just got back from a Dodge dealership, spoke with mechaninc and he sounded pretty confident as to what my issue is.
He says "Wiring Harness"
He thinks i need to take the harness off the OEM motor and put it on the new used motor i just installed. Now while i am happy to have some insight this is asking ALOT being i basically tore down everything and got it all back together now, i dont know what this harness would entail but removing the air intake and doing this seems like a lot of extra work. Why wouldnt both harnesses be exact?
To clarify the dodge mech said to remove the old harness from the oem motor i took out of the 97and put that onto the 95 motor i just installed.
Your thoughts?
