Low Coolant Light

Hi again,
I have another question. I have a 2000 Buick Century and the low coolant light stays on the majority of the time I have it running. I made sure I have plenty of coolant in the radiator and the reserve container too. I also replaced the PCV Valve. Also sometimes the Service Engine Soon light comes on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to AF

The low coolant light could be triggered by either a bad or dirty coolant level sensor. The sensor is located in the passenger side radiator tank, about 1/3 the way down. It will look like a square box about 1-1/4" across, with a wiring harness coming off the bottom. I would suggest having the car scanned (Auto-Zone and Advance will scan for free if the light is on) and post the codes here (don't always believe what they tell you the codes mean) to see why the CEL is coming on.
