Window Auto-Down Problem

I have a Chevy 2001 2500 HD Sliverado with Auto-Down Driver side window.

My problem is: When I use the Auto-Down feature(they're really isn't any way around it if you want the window down) it will go down, but will not come back up. The only way I have found is to turn the car completly off, turn it back on and then it will roll back up. I am selling this car soon so I would like it fixed before I sell it. Any help as to the culprit would be very welcome.

this is the window switch....replace...when working properly hit switch fast/quickly and this will not engage auto down..holding switch for more than 1/2 sec will start auto down...
