It was raining heavily these days, and I found that the carpet of passenger side was wet and sometimes it was full of water. And the water came from somewhere under the glove box. I poured a bottle of water to the drain of passenger side, after a while the water will dribble under the glove box. Does anyone has experience with this?

You should have searched this forum for "wet carpet" or water leaks-- it is all over this forum- the rubber gasket has slipped off under your grille at your fresh air intake- very, very common- do a search- you'll even see photos...

The HVAC inlet seal leak in the cowl area (as mentioned above) is the most common cause. The other possible cause, if you have a sunroof, is the drain tube that runs down the a-pillar has rotted out and instead of running outside the car, it's running inside.

Thank you for the info on this and other posts about the passenger side water leak problem and heater blower problems. Our 2000 Grand Prix had water leaking onto the floor as others have described and the heater blower worked on high only--and sometimes would not shut off even with the engine shut off.

The fix was easy with the help of this forum. The gasket under the cowling had fallen off the edge above the heater blower. I glued it back on with weatherstrip adhesive. The heater blower motor resistor wasn't quite so easy to get at, but for $25 at Autozone, we bought a replacement and spent about 1.5 hours removing the old and installing the new resistor.

Thanks for the help!!!
