'04 Blower Motor Issue

Greetings. Newbie here.

Actually, this about an '04 GT. Same problem, though. Pulled the fuse in the meantime. Runs on high, but couldn't get it turn off at all. After several minutes, figured pulling the fuse would save getting a dead battery.

Dealer has the resistor in stock, $82. My question is, how much of a project is it to get at the part to change it?

Sorry due to the differences between the '04 and up v. '97-'03 models your post has been moved to a new thread. Best not to mix the two models up. Plus you do not have a blower motor resistor. It is a blower motor control module and that is why it is more expensive.
