Yes... for the red 206, it appeared in the Rally 2003 Turkey Race but without the Marlboro words... just like the Evolution VII WRC from Tamiya.

As it did at Rally Monte Carlo, and considering the fact that Marlboro is Peugeot's principle sponsor for 2003 it is not suprising ;)
Looking at the decal sheet for the Marlboro 206, it is the presentation car as shown by Peugeot in the opening presentation of the Monte, since in the stages the Marlboro logos were removed and the car was run with white patches, like was done in Turkey.
I am glad to see they released the Rossi decals too.

Unfortunately, neither the Focus, nor the marlboro Pug decals will fit on any Tamiya kit without modifications or a transkit. :(

I think the Marlboro 206 fit on the 206WRC '02 version, as for the Rossi 206WRC, you have to find a 7 spoke rim for it.(by the way, is not a tarmac tires.)
I love the Ford Focus, but damn...When is Tamiya coming out the kit for the factory team???? If not I will go for the Renassiance Transkit for Ford Focus.
Synergy... the Rossi 206 decal is in, limited qty right now, get it while you can. The enzo p/e set also in. Will get the Marlboro and the rest you all have listed here few more weeks....

The 2003 car is different, the decals may fit the car but it would not be correct.

Fin? Do you mean on the spoiler? Yes you could add that.
What about the hood though, they are different, and I am sure there are other differences I have not thought of too.

It's sucks I know...with 2 champion figures... and remember that Ford Focus??? I thought they will released a 2002 Ford Focus factory team car and what did they released.... a normal ford focus with a catograf decal, what the hell that thinking....
As for the fin on that 206WRC. I not try offence anyone here...but seriously I think those could be done. Only the rims will be hardest to find. Anyway, any idea where can I find the 7 spoke rims for 206WRC Rossi GB?

Those 7 spoke rims look like they could be Speedlines to me, I think Renaissance or Racing43 may make them.

I should have made it more clear - the kit that Tamiya are releasing this month has a correct wing and hood and stuff (as correct as it gets, I think ;))

You have a point Alex, but to make the Monte Carlo version that the decals are for, you would have to buy 2 kits then, unless you want to start chopping suspension pieces up(admittedly not that difficult), but you would still need tarmac wheels.
So, in theory, you will have to buy the 2002 Monte kit for some parts, the 2002 NZ kit for the correct spoiler and body, and the Studio27 decals for the 2003 Monte car.
Sounds like a lot to me ;)

Wait till Phil gets here :D
Even if you get two kits, you'll still be able to make two kits! :) So I don't think there's anything wasted there. ;)

Do we have to wait on Phil :D I am sure he can tell us more flaws in the accuracy of the kits:rolleyes:
I agree you will still have 2 buildable kits, I was just pointing out that you would have to buy both to build the 'correct' version.

On the subjects of wheels for the Rossi version (not that I'm ever planning to make that...)
Here's what Wong suggests - strangely, he suggests 8-spoke wheels. Click click click! (http://asiapac.worldpay.com/cnb/shop/mediamixhobby?productID=1309&op=catalogue-product_info-null&search=rossi&listPos=)

Ordered my Marlboro 206 sheet from Rainbow 10 yesterday, along with the Hakkinen Evo VII from the Arctic Rally :D
http://www.kiwi-us.com/~studio27/webshop/syosai/ST27-DC601-700/DC615C/GUIDE.jpg
Sure there will need to be plenty of mods needed to the basic kit and plenty of mixing and matching wheels etc, to make the results accurate but that is all the fun! Same with Mika's Evo VII, it will need a fair bit of work to convert the Tamiya WRC into WRC2 specification.
Just what I need hey another couple of projects - got enough sitting around part finished as it is!

Rtuned: Exactly what differences are there btw choosing a 6spoke and 8 spoke, since they are BOTH WRONG anyway?
BTW, I don't think it is Wong's suggestion for the 8 spoke, but rather that of Renassiance, since the diagram supplied shows 8 spoke.
And guys, you could always buy one Tamiya kit, and simply order the sprue from Tamiya, via Rainbow Ten or HLJ? Assuming it is not the main sprue of course....
Phil: Exactly what differences are there from the Lancer Evo WRC to the one that Mika uses in the Artic Rally, other than the suspension and wheels? Always thought it was the same spec? And, do you think the wheels Tamiya will be supplying for the 206WRC 02 NZ Rally are the same as those used on the Lancer?
Regards,
Derek

Well to be honest I haven't thoroughly researched the differences between the Monte '02 Lancer WRC and Mika's Arctic '03 car. I do know the bumper and cooling openings are different in the WRC2 and I think the NACA type inlet on the bonnet moves from the left to the right. Hopefully that is all!
No, the wheels from the new Pug kit will definitely not be right for Mika's car. The Lancer uses four bolt pattern Enki's while the Pugs have five bolt OZ rims. As well I assume being a snow rally Mika would have used 16 inch snow wheels with narrow, studded tyres. The only way to get something close to right would be to build/modify them yourself. On the other hand the lazy option would be to just use some 15 inch gravel Enki's from the NZ Evo VI kit.
