1995 Trans Sport - no Brake Lights

Just aquired the 1995 Trans Sport. Running great until the Brake lights won't work. There is power to the lights, full tail light lighting works. Flashers all work. Have changed all bulbs - just in case. Even changed the brake pedal switch under the dash. All lighting is working except the brake lights won't come on when pedal is pressed. I'm wondering if there is a line fuse (not the fuse in the panel since they have been changed) but a fuse on the wiring someplace? I'm hesitant to believe it is something with the ground since ALL other lights and systems work fine.
Am open to suggestions - would like to drive this thing!:banghead:
Thanks

Check for voltage at brake switch, in and out; next in line is turn signal switch.; do you have the center stop light working at the rear?

Thanks for the diagram.
I'm not great at following them, but will try.
Regarding the rear center light, no it is also not working.
It seems like the circuit is not getting any juice, so i'm trying to track down the likely spot where there is a break in the connection.
I'm reading the diagram, am I right that the place I should be looking is the connection between the hazard switch and the brake switch? (BTW - the van does not have cruise). I'm reading the drawing as the white wire between the Turn/hazard and the break switch may be the issue or is it the "orange" line?
Appreciate any guidance you might have.
Thanks

Yes the orange wire, that is one of 2 wires to the brake switch, must carry 12V at all times, even with key OFF. Then, IF you have that 12V there, then the other wire from the brake switch (white) must turn ON when you depress the brake pedal.
Since even the center brake light does not turn ON, I suspect you do not even have 12v at the brake switch..and this clears the turn/hazard signal switch.
If you have 12V at Orange and nothing on white when you depress pedal, then the brake switch is dead, which would be the easy solution, but you said it had been replaced already ......
If you do not even have 12V feed at the brake switch, run a new wire from orange wire to +12V at battery or other convenient 12V location for a quick test. If all works OK from there, then find where the break actually occurs or leave the new feed, with an inline fuse as a precaution.

Just wanted to get back to everyone.
Checked the orange power source to the brake switch and it did not have any power to it. Rewired to a constant 12V source. Checked the circuit using a continuity check, no power drop so have to believe that there is no short in the circuit. After rewired, brakes work OK.
Thanks for the help.
