2000 astro van hard to start in the morning

it hestitates when you first take off and you can feel it hesitating when driving it at slower speeds. also notice it seems to be taking longer to start sometimes. any ideas on what this may be or what needs to be done to fix it. thanks in advance

it doesnt start the first time i try to start it in the morning or after it sits all day at work, but it usually starts the second time. it started it about a week ago. any help would be greatly appreciated

The first step would be to measure KOEO fuel pressure. If the pressure is below 61 PSIG, it probably isn't going to start. There are numerous possible causes for low pressure, so don't immediately assume a fuel pump problem before performing the complete diagnosis of the complete fuel system.

seems to be getting worse and worse for some reason thinking eventually it just wont start

odds are its a pump going bad i just went through this with my 99....take a pressuer test it must be at 61 to start.....if its it not climb under the van and clamp the reurn line if it spikes the pressure then you have a bad pressure regulator
