I recently purchased a used JVC KSR-155 cassette player for my Corvette, I wanted to upgrade from the factory AM-FM and stay period correct. However there is no wiring diagram with or on the head unit. This is a stem-style unit, which was probably made in the late 80's to early ninety's. Does anyone have or know where to find a wiring diagram?:banghead:

Picked it up on Ebay over the winter. Figured I'd hve it up and running by now, but the weather has been crappy all winter and I have no garage room. Actually wanted an Alpine, but working units in the right agr range are pricey.

Ireally wouldn't even know where to start ....you should be able to figure out power and ground, once you get it running you can use a test speaker to figure out what speaker wires go where. Just tun the fader all the way to the front then the balance all the way to the right - only two speaker wires when combined should be playing. Adjust the fader and balance for the other three corners.

The main thing thatsthrowing me is the fact thatthere are only five wires that appear to be used for speakers. Is it possible that all the speaker wires use a single ground?
