I own a 2001 GT, with a 3800 series in it. This winter my car pulled this code. Saying the the engine was running cooler than it was supposed to. Living in MN, and it finally warming up, the code light has disappeared. What should I be looking at to fix, so not to have this come up again next winter?
Thx.

Welcome to AF.
DTC P0128 sets if the engine coolant rises too slowly due to a ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor or cooling system fault. You can check the ECT for proper range/calibration or most likely a thermostat issue. If you are stock best one to use is a 195 degree thermostat.
