Auto to 5-speed?

As ya know I'm putting my D15 from my CRX which has an auto tranny into my EX sedan which has a 5-speed tranny. I've not pulled the engine yet but I'm trying to get everything bought so I can pull the engine, prep it for install then drop it right in. What has to be done to the engine itself to prep it for a manual tranny?

as far as I know, all you have to do is obviously take off the tranny but also take off the torque converter.

I know there's a pressure plate in there somewhere... since I've not had an automatic tranny off of an engine I've worked on (much less did a conversion) where does the pressure plate come in?
