Stero Volume turns down when slowing

for some reason the volume on my stereo will go down when i slow down. and it only does it sometimes. does anyone know why?

u mean it physically lowers the volume as if u touched the knob or volume sounds lower in general. if it is the second one thats normal because its got less current/charge going to the stereo to keep the volume up.

yeah it's the 2nd one. the volume just goes down in general. thanks for the info. i just didn't know if it meant something was wrong.

do you have SCV speed control volume on ???

i'm not sure what that is.

SCV button on stereo the faster you go the louder it gets and slower you go the lower it gets, push button and it will say off-low-medium-high.

I have a 99 alero gl 3.4l V6. I have problems with the radio volume cutting out completely and then the volume will turn up by itself. It only happens every now and then. It does not have an automatic volume control.
