Hello
Me again. Fixed the front brakes (thanks to all for the help info) and now the vehicle has a drip
I saw it off the bottom radiator hose passenger side. I just can't see where it attaches to or how to get to it. My question would be how to get to it or what is the best way to remove it. I know I will have to drain the coolant out.
??? can I tackle it or if I take it in about 1-2 hours labor?
also I am affraid to have flushed because it may open a can of worms with something else in the system or radiator going bad?. But should I have change out the top hose and would you recommend a flush and refill? Heat has not been an issue she runs a 190-200 degress even under tow.
any thought would be greatly appreciated
thanks

Drips from that area are usually the water pump- the front seals go bad and the water drips out the weep hole-- when was the last time you had the water pump changed??? Very easy to confirm- just shine a bright light up there and look for the source.....

Hello
brcidd in regards to water pump I have never had it changed. Is this a common problem? and is this a big job. I had a 1990 pontiac where it was right in front of you and just a cartridge change? How difficult a job if this is the problem? Thanks for you reply and info

It's not a bad job- Sometimes just getting the fan blade off is the toughest part- they make a tool for it- but I usually just use a vice grip chain grip on the pulley to "back-it-up" that is a right hand threaded joint BY THE WAY-the rest is pretty straight forward.....once you dig a hole out by removing the air cleaner, duct work, and upper fan shroud.....
