Rough Idle '99 Alero

'99 Alero runs great when moving, but idles like garbage. When you stop the rpms come down and hold steady for a second or two, and then it starts acting up. The rpms dip for just an instant every couple seconds, and when they do, the whole engine jerks and the lights dim. Keeps doing this every couple seconds until you give it more gas.

Tried cleaning the throttle body and IAC. Plugs have less than 10,000 miles on them. No check engine light. Mechanic says it isn't bad enough to diagnose yet and he doesn't just want to guess and throw parts at it (which I don't either due to $$$)

Anyone else ever have this problem? Any help is much appreciated!

Sounds like a fuel issue.... have you tried any injection cleaners ??

These injectors are prone to clogs and failure.
