97 Jetta wont start

Hey I have a big problem: My Jetta will not start. Its a 97 2.0 gls, 5speed. The car has 109k miles on it and the car had never gave me any problems whatsoever. Out of nowhere one morning it would not start. The car was parked up an incline with less than a quarter tank of gas. incase that has anything to do with it. The last night I drove it the speedometer stopped working and came back on and only mist and intermitent would work on my wiper switch. The car has no spark or fuel getting to the engine. I tried 3 different computers, and even bought a brand new battery to try to restart the alarm. I dont know what else to do! Has anyone else had this problem? If so help me out with any technical support that you could give me. I would really appreciate it. Thanx, Brett
