'97 Help

I need help. I have a 1997 two door hatch back. Some idiot busted my driver's side quarter panel out. I bought a replacement from the junk yard. I am not sure how to install replacement glass. I looked online can't find anything but ads for windshield replacement. Help.

Hey 97 help .. I think (not certain though) the plastic trim around the outside of the glass pulls/snaps off (with finesse) and you will find the glass is clipped/glued on to the metal body. Sadly there are a few donor Metros in my local boneyard to choose from for replacement glass (and removal training). Hope you do OK getting the glass replaced!!! Sorry you met up with an idiot. Keep your Metro safe and maintained and you won't have gas mileage concerns like the SUV crowd! Let us know how your job turned out.
